Excursions to Batumi - museum, dolphinarium, botanical garden

Cultural tour: Museums in Batumi

There are extremely many museums in the city of Batumi (about 10). The most popular and visited of them are the Archaeological, Local History, Art Museum, the Nobel Brothers Technological Museum and the ethnographic Museum “Borjgalo”.

It is them that we will visit during our excursion. Our guides will tell you the most interesting facts, and you will also be able to find out information about any of the exhibits presented. And this is not unimportant, because all signatures in museums are only in Georgian.

Dolphinarium of Batumi

Those who came with children will also find something to occupy them. You can all go on an excursion to the dolphinarium together.

This is one of the favorite places for both tourists and locals. In the dolphinarium, you can have fun and unforgettable time not only for children, but also for adults.

In addition to the dolphinarium, there is also an aquarium on the territory, in which up to 100 species of fish from the Black Sea and exotic distant countries currently live.

Botanic Garden of Batumi

For those who can’t sit in one place and who want to see the surroundings of Batumi, we recommend going on an excursion to the botanical garden located in the village of Zeleny Mys.

It contains a huge variety of plants from many parts of the world. The garden stretches over an area of about 113 hectares and impresses with a riot of colors. You can walk along it for hours, especially considering that there are the purest beaches of Cape Verde nearby.

A walk through old Batumi

For those who do not sit in one place and who want to explore the surroundings of Batumi, we recommend going on an excursion to the botanical garden located in the village of Zeleny Mys.

A huge variety of plants from many parts of the world are collected here. The garden stretches over an area of about 113 hectares and impresses with a riot of colors. You can walk along it for hours, especially considering that the cleanest beaches of Cape Verde are nearby.

Batumi is an old city with a centuries–old history. And where, if not in the city center, walking surrounded by centuries-old buildings and architectural masterpieces, can you really feel it?

On this tour we will walk through the historical part of Batumi and finish it at the Piazza Square, located in the heart of the old part of Batumi. Here you will plunge into the atmosphere of old Italy, and, having walked enough, you can relax in one of the many establishments located around.

And in the evening, live music will play for you on the square and cute dolls will go to the clock tower every three hours.
